Global warefare is a massively mulltple on-line role play (MMORP) game that lets you do everything ... stratigize against other players ... and conspire with your friends ... build things ... and blow things up. It owns a unique space in the universe of on line gaming. If that is the experience you crave there is no substitute. That is if you have the time to devote to maintaining a world apart. Many people just do not have the time and energy to invest in their cyber world.
Pricing for Global Warfare starts at Free, which is a very good place to begin. Play is free and there are no monthly charges. You are given the option to purchase "G Cash" at a little less than $0.10 per unit (50 G Cash for $4.90). G Cash lets you buy add ons, accessories and speed up play. As is usual for games that can be accessed from facebook, other options are available so that everything can be earned from within the game, if you have the time to devote to it.
Wild Tangent has a wide variety of games including MMRPGs. Lots of them, almost three dozen. Somehow, even with so many, each game has something different to offer. Premium memberships can be paid monthly at $9.95, quarterly for $22.50 or annually for $72.00, you get some Linden Dollars (L) with a membership, or you can buy it separately for $10.35 for L2500.00. Like Global Warfare, L Dollars let you buy add-ons, accessories and options. Unlike other games, you can redeem L Dollars for real world money. As is customary, there are other options are available to earn L Dollars from within the game, if you have the time to devote to it.
If you want to battle the world, go blow things up and spill some blood in Global Warfare. But it is not all death and destruction; you also build fortresses and form alliances as well. If you want to sample a few different kinds of role-play game, Wild Tangent is the site you will love. Wild Tangent has selections for every member of you family too. From Disney to battle arenas they cover every possible genre and your Wild Cash can be used towards game play in any game. If you "need a life" you can get a Second Life. This game offers more real world interaction, even the opportunity to earn real money. So go, have fun; you have nothing to lose, every game gives a free trial period at least, and some you can play forever at no cost. You can learn a new game, and perhaps something about yourself and how you interact with others as well.

I have to suggest FunOrb and Runescape both from Jagex Ltd. they are free but you can pay if you want them to the fullest potential.
