Tetris Battle: Game Modes

The method you have practised thoroughly in Tetris Battle may not be suited to the different games available in Tetris Battle. Newer strategies must be formulated depending on the type of the Game mode as Tetris Battle is very complicated.

1 VS 1 Game or 2 Player Game

This is the most common game being played on Tetris Battle, it follows a knockout system, the more knock outs the opponents receive the better chance of winning, if both teams have the same knock outs then the player who sent the higher amount of lines wins. If both players happened to have the same number of knockouts and lines sent, the first player who reached that amount wins. This game mode has the Tetris Battle’s standard Ghost Pieces and Bombs. The duration of this Game Mode in Tetris Battle is 2 minutes; there are also maps that can be chosen.

Tetris Battle Marathon

The Tetris Battle Marathon is modelled after the original Tetris, although with added features such as Hold and Ghost Pieces. The maximum level attainable in this Tetris Battle game mode is level 15. As one progresses in each level, the “gravity” of the tetrominoes becomes stronger.  To progress in each level you must clear the number of lines mentioned in the screen. There are no opponents in this Tetris Battle Game Mode. To unlock this game you must have 14 Tetris Battle Facebook Friends.

 4 Game Sprints

To win the 4 Player Sprint, you must be the first one to send the number of lines required which is 40. In this Tetris Battle Game Mode, four players will be competing like in a race. There are no bombs in this type of game. A combo is not necessarily required, although using one would ease the making of blocks.

Sprint

The Sprint Game Mode is similar to the Tetris Battle 4 Game Sprint but instead you fight yourself, there are no opponents, you just try to get the fastest speed possible (to clear 40 lines). Same techniques can apply here.

6 Players Game

There are 6 players competing in this Game Mode. This Tetris Battle is similar to the 2 Player Game Mode except that the person who will receive the lines varies every couple of seconds. It is very hard to win the game as you must send many lines perfectly to a person who is about to be knocked out. Therefore the best strategy in this Tetris Battle Game Mode is to clear as many lines as possible.

Tetris Battle Arena

 A password or code is changed peridoically in this game mode, you compete in Game Rooms. The players playing in this Tetris Game Mode are automatically live. The Tetris Game Mode is patterned after the 6 Player Game Mode.
