Holy Suit System Guide in Godswar

Holy Suit System Guide in Godswar

Think of the Holy Suit System as a way to level up your equipment. It is an involved process, but also a fun system once you get the hang of things. Using the Holy Suit System, you can enhance your equipment's attributes, quality and star rankings. You can customize it with any attribute you choose, either for offensive or defensive power. It doesn't take long to see the full potential of the Gold Holy Suit, as players are constantly looking for the latest ways to get their hands on superior gear. Knowing the holy suit will give you an advantage in the armor system.

* Please note that players must be Level 70 or above to use the Holy Suit System. They must be Level 100 or above to apply Holy Stones to their suits.

EXP Insertion

The leveling procedure for a Holy Suit is nearly the same as that for a character. The only difference is that a character must earn EXP from quests and defeating monsters, while Holy Suits use EXP withdrawn directly from a character's accumulated EXP total. Many items are needed to make use of the EXP transfer process, so read the following information carefully.

Holy Box: Storing EXP

To transfer EXP from your character to your armor, you must first get your hands on a Holy Box. There are four kinds of Holy Boxes. They can be obtained from defeated monsters, the Item Mall, merchants, and B-Gold shops. The higher the level of the box, the more EXP it can transfer. Once EXP is stored in a box, it is bound to your character.

ICON Item Description
Holy Box I With a Holy Box I, the Master Vestment Forger in a major city can raise vestment level. Holy Box I can store up to 100,000 EXP. The Holy Box vanishes once the stored EXP is fully depleted.
Holy Box II With a Holy Box II, the Master Vestment Forger in a major city can raise vestment level. Holy Box II can store up to 1,000,000 EXP. The Holy Box vanishes once the stored EXP is fully depleted.
Holy Box III With a Holy Box III, the Master Vestment Forger in a major city can raise vestment level. Holy Box III can store up to 10,000,000 EXP. The Holy Box vanishes once the stored EXP is fully depleted.
Holy Box IV With a Holy Box IV, the Master Vestment Forger in a major city can raise vestment level. Holy Box IV can store up to 100,000,000 EXP. The Holy Box vanishes once the stored EXP is fully depleted.

Once you have a Holy Box, visit the Master Vestment Forger in one of the two major cities to insert EXP into your armor. There are two forgers; one is in Athens (132, -135) and the other in Sparta (12, 8).

While speaking with the Master Vestment Forger, ask him use the Holy Box to store EXP. Insert your Holy Box in the designated spot and enter the amount of EXP to store. For instance, if the character is at Level 96 and the EXP display reads 5,000/4,318,360, then the maximum amount of EXP that can be stored is 5,000. If you only want to store 3,000 EXP out of the 5,000 available, then you can enter 3,000 and will have 2,000 EXP left over. The maximum amount of EXP that can be stored in one day depends on the level of the character; the higher the level, the more EXP can be stored. Keep in mind the maximum amount of EXP that can be stored in a Holy Box depends on its level, with a limit of 100,000,000 when using a Holy Box IV.

* Please note that the Holy Box does not have to be full for the EXP to be transferred; it can be used anytime with any amount of EXP up to the box's maximum.

Holy Box: Transferring EXP

The EXP stored in a Holy Box can be transferred. While speaking with the Master Vestment Forger, ask him to transfer stored EXP from the Holy Box into your armor. Insert your Holy Box in the designated spot to transfer all the stored EXP.

* Please note that a Holy Box vanishes when the stored EXP is fully depleted.

Once the transfer is completed, move your cursor over your armor to see the current total amount of EXP inserted compared to the total EXP needed to level up. When the inserted EXP meets or exceeds the total needed, you can select the Upgrade option to level up your Holy Suit.

Holy Suit Customization

Before you start to upgrade your Holy Suit, it is important to familiarize yourself with the sequence of the upgrading process: common armor - Bronze Holy Suit - Silver Holy Suit - Gold Holy Suit. To upgrade a piece of common armor, you must apply Bronze Wares to the suit until it reaches Level 10 Bronze Holy Suit. From there, it can be upgraded to a Level 10 Silver Holy Suit using Silver Wares, and a Level 10 Gold Holy Suit after that using Gold Wares.

ICON ITEM DESCRIPTION

Bronze Ware With Bronze Wares, a Master Vestment Forger in a major city can upgrade common armor into a Bronze Holy Suit. It can improve a Bronze Holy Suit to a maximum of Level 10.
Silver Ware With Silver Wares, a Master Vestment Forger in a major city can upgrade a Level 10 Bronze Holy Suit into a Silver Holy Suit. It can improve a Silver Holy Suit to a maximum of Level 10.
Gold Ware With Gold Wares, a Master Vestment Forger in a major city can upgrade a Level 10 Silver Holy Suit into a Gold Holy Suit. It can improve a Gold Holy Suit to a maximum of Level 10.

Holy Wares can be purchased from the Item Mall, merchants and B-Gold shops. After purchasing the Holy Ware required for an upgrade, go to a major city and ask the Master Vestment Forger to use the Holy Ware to upgrade your armor. Insert a qualifying piece of armor into the designated spot along with the corresponding number of Holy Wares and select Confirm to upgrade. The number of Holy Wares inserted must match the level to which you want the armor to be upgraded. For instance, for a Level 1 Holy Suit, you must insert one unit of the corresponding Holy Wares, and for Level 7 Holy Suit, you must insert seven units of the corresponding Holy Wares.

* Please note that Holy Wares vanish once they are used.

Once the upgrade is complete, move your cursor over the armor to see the improvements made during the upgrade.

Holy Stones

Another way to boost the performance of your Holy Suit is to mount a Holy Stone or two onto it. Before you can do that, you must learn about the mounting process and the use of Holy Spirits; without them a Holy Stone is useless.

Holy Stone Upgrades

You can mount a Level 1 Holy Stone onto your Holy Suit, but it would not do you much good. To make Holy Stone mounting worthwhile, you should first upgrade it by Eclipse Stones. The Holy Stone upgrading process will have no effect on the Holy Spirits inserted into the stone.

Collect the necessary materials and visit the Holy Stone Artisan in a major city: (132, -138) in Athens or (12, 4) in Sparta.

While speaking with the Holy Stone Artisan, ask him to upgrade your Holy Stone. You can place your Holy Stone in the designated spot, plus there is a separate spot available for inserting an Eclipse Stone. Holy Stone upgrades have a chance to fail, and an Eclipse Stone will increase your chances of success. There are three kinds of Eclipse Stones you can use, as shown in the table below.

ICON ITEM DESCRIPTION
Level 1 Eclipse Stone Powered by the combustion of the sun, this stone can upgrade a Holy Stone from Level 2 through Level 4. The success rate is 90%.
Level 2 Eclipse Stone Powered by the combustion of the sun, this stone can upgrade a Holy Stone from Level 5 through Level 7. The success rate is 25%.
Level 3 Eclipse Stone Powered by the combustion of the sun, this stone can upgrade a Holy Stone from Level 8 through Level 10. The success rate is 10%.

The upgrading process can be nerve-racking, since there is a chance of failure. When an attempt fails, the level of the Holy Stone is downgraded by one level. The Eclipse Stone can be applied to set the success rate to a certian value, but it's effectiveness deminishes through the character's advancement. You may also use a Goddess' Stone to further improve your chances of success. Adding a Goddess' Stone improves the success rate by an additional 10%.

* Please note that Holy Stones, Eclipse Stones, Goddess' Stones and Holy Spirits can be purchased at B-Gold shops or the Item Mall, or they can be traded with credit.

Inserting Holy Spirits

Holy Spirits are key components in the Holy Suit enhancement process. Without a Holy Spirit, mounting a Holy Stone to your Holy Suit is useless. A Holy Spirit adds an attribute value to the Holy Stone, which transfers to the Holy Suit once mounted. This gives you an opportunity to customize your Holy Suit further by allowing you to add the attributes of your choice to your Holy Suit.

There are two kinds of Holy Stones, Heated and Cooled, determined by the function of the equipment. Heated Holy Stones improve offensive equipment (e.g., weapons, gloves, helmets and rings) while cooled Holy Stones improve defensive equipment (e.g., armors, shields, sleeves, etc.). As a result, the Holy Spirits are divided into two categories, Holy Spirit of Fire and Holy Spirit of Water, as shown in the table below.

Water Spirit of Resilience  A type of Water Spirit that can reduce the damage from a critical strike you receive. Go to the Holy Stone Artisan to have it inserted into a Holy Stone.  40  100

Ask the Holy Stone Artisan to insert Holy Spirits into your Holy Stone. Insert the Holy Stone and the Holy Spirit(s) in the designated spots. There is also a place to insert a Goddess' Stone, which is optional but can improve your upgrade's effectiveness. The effectiveness of any Holy Spirit is determined randomly within a range of values listed in the table above. Using a Goddess' Stone will increase the lower limit and give you a higher value.

* Please note that any Eclipse or Goddess' Stones used will vanish once the Holy Stone upgrade is completed.

If you are dissatisfied with the attribute received from a Holy Spirit, you can replace it by inserting another Holy Spirit into the stone, which will replace the old one.

Holy Stone Mounting

Mounting a stone onto a piece of equipment can be tricky, but it is not rocket science. You must drill a spot on the equipment where you can mount the stone. Once mounted, the stone's Holy Spirit attribute will transfer from to the Holy Suit. If you want to transfer the attribute to a different Holy Suit, you can easily detach the Holy Stone and remount it on another piece of equipment.

Drilling

Ask the Holy Stone Artisan to drill a spot for mounting the Holy Stone. Drilling the first hole costs 230 gold, and drilling the second hole costs 2300 gold.

Mounting

Once the holes have been drilled, ask the Holy Stone Artisan to mount the stones on your Holy Suit. Place them in the designated spots and click Confirm to mount.

* Please note that Holy Stones are equipment-specific. Please check their compatibility before mounting.

Once mounted, you can move your cursor over your Holy Suit to see the improvement made to its attributes.

Detaching

If you are dissatisfied with the effect of a Holy Stone on a particular piece of equipment or you can make better use of it elsewhere, you have the option of detaching it. Visit the Holy Stone Artisan to have it detached.

The stones are listed in a numerical order. To detach the stone listed first, enter the number "1" in the bracket. Enter the number "2" if you want to detach the second stone on the list.

The detachment process will not change the effectiveness of the Holy Stone. The holes drilled on the Holy Suit will remain for mounting other Holy Stones.
